About Hannah
Welcome! I’m Hannah, passionate piano teacher with nine years of teaching experience. I began my journey at a music school, teaching both private and group classes, and now I’m lucky to run my own little studio with about 40 wonderful students.
I studied piano, singing, and clarinet throughout school and was fortunate to have a rich and intensive musical education outside of school as well. I graduated with a Bachelor of Speech Pathology in 2014, which gave me valuable experience working with children and supporting their individual strengths and challenges.
I’m passionate about making lessons fun, encouraging, and meaningful. I take a holistic approach to piano teaching — focusing on correct technique, music reading, creativity, improvisation, and aural development. My goal is to help every student feel confident and inspired at the piano, whether they’re preparing for exams or simply playing for enjoyment.
Outside of teaching, I’ve spent many years performing in bands and acoustic duos, playing at weddings, private events, bars, and cafes. These experiences have deepened my love for live music and given me a strong understanding of performance, collaboration, and musical expression - something I love to share with my students.
I’m always learning and staying up to date with the latest in piano pedagogy so I can give my students the very best experience possible. Most importantly, I want every lesson to be something my students look forward to - a place to learn, laugh, and fall in love with music.
